Authentic Voices: ensuring children are engaged readers and successful writers

The Elliot Foundation are delighted to invite you to our annual national English conference.

This year’s Teacher Assessment Framework has a much greater emphasis on composition and this conference focuses how we can support our learners in becoming “real” readers and writers.

We have a great line-up of teachers, authors, researchers and experts who will explore all aspects of how we can ensure that our children love to read and have authentic, expressive and creative writers’ voices.

At the conference you will:

  • Learn about current research and initiatives that support the teaching of the primary English curriculum

  • Network and share practice/ideas with others teachers

  • Feel inspired by books, language and words and optimistic about how we can, in-turn, inspire children

The cost to attend the conference is £300 (plus VAT and booking fee) which includes overnight accommodation at the De Vere Jubilee Centre, Nottingham. Please contact the organiser for a quote without accommodation.

If you are booking on behalf of an Elliot Foundation Academy please select "The Elliot Foundation member of staff" registration option on the booking form and select the "Invoice Option" to make payment.
