Eyrescroft Primary School

The Federation of Highlees and Eyrescroft Schools Eyrescroft Primary School is a two form entry school. We are a vibrant, multicultural school situated in the heart of the North Bretton community, northwest of Peterborough city center. On 1st December 2015 we converted to be part of The Elliot Foundation Academy Trust and federated with Highlees Primary School and now work together to provide the best opportunities possible for the children and families that we serve in North Bretton, Ravensthorpe and Westwood.

We believe that the best interests of the children should be at the heart of every decision that we make in our school. Our aim is to always inspire our children, ensure they achieve their very best and celebrate their success. We strive to achieve this aim by having high expectations of all members of our school community, strong pastoral care and an aspirational focus on raising achievement.

Our school is a place where children are known and valued as individuals and where they can thrive academically and socially. Visitors to our school often comment on the welcoming atmosphere, friendly and caring staff and the politeness of our children.

Eyrescroft believes everyone is entitled to be inspired whilst striving to ensure that every individual achieves their full potential. We value the importance of celebrating everyone’s success. This ethos is embedded in all we do to ensure your children enjoy coming to school where they are supported in achieving academically whilst developing as confident, thoughtful and resilient members of the community. We hope these skills stay with our children for the next step in their learning journey. Our school staff are passionate about our children and we work very closely with parents and agencies. Everyone involved with our school has a clear vision and commitment to make our school a place to feel proud of and we welcome people who share this commitment.
