Highlees Primary School

The Highlees and Eyrescroft Federation Working in partnership, Highlees and Eyrescroft Primary schools are able to build on and maximise the strengths of both schools whilst maintaining the unique personalities that each school has to offer. Both Academies are proud members of the Elliot Foundation and together we are committed to working with children, families and the local community.

Highlees joined Elliot Foundation in September 2013. Located in Peterborough, it is the first school to join the Elliot Foundation from outside of the London and Birmingham areas. As per the Elliot Foundation philosophy, it is our full intention to work with other primary schools nearby to establish a flourishing, collaborative community that does the very best for each and every one of their pupils. Emma Ward and her team have created a real climate of trust and partnership for learning at Highlees and she is relentless in ensuring she doesn’t take them or the community for granted.

Highlees Primary School is a positive and vibrant place where all children can experience success and achievement. Highlees’ mission statement is ‘bringing out the best’. We offer our children a happy, safe and secure environment where they can grow into confident, resilient and responsible individuals, prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.

Highlees Primary has a dedicated team of staff and support staff who are enthusiastic about, and utterly committed to the children in their care. We have high aspirations and expectations of every child. Our children get one chance for an education and we are determined to ensure it is the best.
