Welcome to the Elliot Foundation

The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust (TEFAT) is a successful, charitable multi-academy trust specialising in primary academies. We touch the lives of over over 14,000 children in over 30 schools across three different regions; the West Midlands, East Anglia and London (where our Head Office is based). Over the last ten years we have created a thriving and diverse family of schools, committed to improving outcomes for all children, resourced by people who really want to make a difference, in an organisation that is relentlessly positive and ambitious.

We’re committed to equipping children with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours necessary to succeed in learning and life. We aim to nurture all our children to become active and responsible citizens in their respective communities. Curricula across our schools differ and we resist a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our values

The Elliot Foundation lives by our values (see below). We’re transparent, open, and kind, and we aim to make a difference to the lives of each one of our pupils. In line with our tradition of enabling children and promoting student leadership, the logos for all our values were created by our pupils.

A broad curriculum

We avoid teaching to the test. Our students receive a broad curriculum with excellent provision of the arts. Each of our regions has a regional arts lead who collaborates with local and national arts partners to deliver our arts curriculum. In 2023, 2000 children from all 33 of The Elliot Foundation schools filled the Royal Opera House to sing The Magic Flute alongside Royal Opera House opera singers and a live orchestra. This followed a year-long programme designed to upskill teachers, inspire creativity in children, and embed quality arts programmes in our schools.

Our schools

Our 33 schools are located in East Anglia, London, and the West Midlands. Each of our schools has the freedom to bring a unique approach to education, whilst being supported through collaboration and mentorship.
